Is this really lifetime — no hidden renewals?
Yes. You pay once, you're in forever. Your tier access never expires and the price is contractually locked — it's written into your account record and cannot be changed. This is not a promotional rate that rolls over to full price. We built this program specifically to let early believers lock in pricing before we scale, and we honor that permanently.
Can I upgrade tiers later?
Yes, while the founding program is still open. You pay the difference between tiers (not the full new-tier price). If you joined as a Founder at $99 and want to upgrade to Engineer at $299, you pay $200. Once the 500-member cap closes, tier upgrades at founding prices close with it.
What if I want a refund after 6 months?
We offer a 6-month satisfaction guarantee. If you've given it a genuine try and RailScanPro or RailCommand doesn't work for your layout, contact us within 6 months of purchase and we'll refund in full, no questions asked. After 6 months the founding purchase is non-refundable — you're getting a lifetime license and the pricing reflects that.
Is my membership transferable to family members?
Each tier includes a seat count (Engineer+). The founding account itself is non-transferable, but the seat allocation means family members can be added under your account. If you pass away, the account can be transferred to an heir through our estate process — contact support with documentation and we'll handle it with care.
How is this different from a paid subscription?
A subscription charges you monthly or annually, and the price can change. A founding membership is a one-time payment that covers everything your tier includes — forever. You also get benefits subscriptions don't: the founding badge, name in credits, beta access, and (at higher tiers) direct input into product direction. You're an investor in the product's success, not just a customer.
What if the company dissolves or shuts down?
In the very unlikely event Winsit LLC closes, we commit to: (1) giving 12 months advance notice where possible, (2) releasing a downloadable offline version of the core tool for Founding Members so your data and layouts are never held hostage, and (3) refunding any remaining paid-but-undelivered tier benefits on a prorated basis. We're a bootstrapped product built to last — not a VC-funded sprint. This program is our runway.
