The marketplace lets signed-in users browse model railroad items listed by other RailScanPro users.
Open the Marketplace
Open /app/marketplace.
Phone users may be redirected to /app/marketplace/mobile.
If the marketplace is unavailable, the marketplace feature flag may be disabled for the current environment or account.
Browse Listings
The marketplace page supports search and filters such as category and price range. Open a listing detail page at /app/marketplace/{Id}.
From the listing detail page, you may see actions such as:
- Buy Now.
- Make Offer.
- Contact Seller.
Checkout
When Buy Now is available, checkout opens at /app/marketplace/{ListingId}/checkout.
Checkout can only continue when:
- The listing is still active.
- The seller has completed marketplace payment setup.
- The seller's connected payment account is charges-enabled.
If checkout is not available, use Contact Seller from the listing page or try again later.
Offers
Use Make Offer when a listing allows negotiation. After submitting an offer, RailScanPro sends you toward marketplace purchase activity so you can track it.
